How To Solve The Problem Of Over Polishing Of Polishing Machine?

In the process of daily use of the polishing machine, the major problem encountered by users is "excessive polishing". Too long polishing time makes the surface quality of the equipment mold worse, and there are often phenomena such as "orange peel" and "pitting". How should we deal with such situations? Let's talk about how to solve the problem of "over polishing" of polishing machine.

When the workpiece has "orange peel" phenomenon, it is caused by overheating or excessive carburization of the mold surface. When the polishing pressure is relatively large and the polishing time is relatively long, it will also lead to "orange peel" phenomenon of the equipment. What is "orange peel"? The surface is irregular and rough; For relatively hard steel, it is relatively large to bear polishing pressure, and for relatively soft steel, it is very easy to have the problem of excessive polishing.

So what measures can be taken to eliminate the "orange peel" of the workpiece? First, we need to remove the defective surface, then the grinding particle size is slightly thicker than the previously used sand number, reduce the tempering temperature by 25 ℃, then eliminate the stress, then grind with a grinding tool with a finer sand number, and then polish with a lighter force until the effect is satisfactory.

The so-called "pitting" refers to the occurrence of pitting pits on the polished workpiece surface. This is because the metal workpiece will be mixed with some non-metallic impurities, usually hard and brittle oxides. If the polishing pressure is too high or the polishing time is too long, these impurities will be pulled out from the steel surface to form dot pits. Especially when the purity of steel is not enough and the content of hard impurities is high; Just now, when the surface is rusty or the black leather material does not clear the feelings, it is more likely to have "pitting corrosion".

How to eliminate "pitting"? When regrinding the surface of the workpiece, the sand particle size of the abrasives used must be slightly thicker than that used previously, and the grinding force must be small. Then use the soft and sharp oilstone for grinding, and then carry out the polishing procedure after reaching the satisfactory effect. When polishing, if the size of sand particles is less than 1mm, soft polishing tools should be avoided. The intensity of running light should be as small as possible and the time should be as short as possible.
