When polishing, the speed of the polishing machine must be strictly controlled. For skilled technicians, the paint surface of the steel plate can be controlled between 2500-4000 revolutions, and the paint surface of the plastic part can not exceed 1800 revolutions. For unskilled technicians, the paint finish of the steel plate should be controlled between 1500-2500 rpm, and the paint finish of the plastic part should be controlled between 1000-1200 rpm.
Otherwise, the paint surface may be damaged by the high temperature generated by the rotating speed too fast, or even be thrown through the original paint surface, causing irreparable losses. The effective polishing sequence is from inside to outside, from top to bottom, and round the car to complete the operation.

Select abrasives and discs strictly
Before polishing, carefully check the paint condition. Select different grinding discs and abrasives according to the size of the scratch on the paint surface, the degree of damage, the thickness of the paint surface, the abrasion resistance and other specific conditions.
The water-based Abrasives shall not cover small flower marks, and the grinding disc shall be in contact with the paint surface as far as possible during grinding. When the abrasives dry and adhere to the paint surface, spray a small amount of water on the grinding plate and then grind.
Oily Abrasives can cover small flower marks, and it is not easy for the abrasives to burn dry and adhere to the paint surface. After grinding, degrease with degreasing water, and then make crystal plating and film plating products. Otherwise, the crystal plating and film plating cannot be well adhered to the paint surface, and it is easy to be cleaned.
When the paint scratch is relatively large, the wool disc can be used with coarse abrasive (4 μ m）； For moderate scratches, a coarse sponge ball with a medium abrasive (2 μ m）； Fine sponge ball and fine abrasive (0.8 μ m) Polishing operation is carried out.
In general, the medium abrasive is used in combination with the wool pan, and then the fine abrasive is used in combination with the sponge ball. The "suit the case" polishing can achieve a better effect on the paint surface.
