Is Yellow Foam Caused By Abrasive Or Abrasive Stone During Grinding And Polishing

Dec 10, 2024Leave a message

There are several reasons why the polishing agent turns yellow during product polishing:
1. Generally, first check if the surface finish of the abrasive used in your vibration grinder is OK. If you are using steel balls as the grinding material, check if there are any perforations. If there are, use an alkaline gloss agent to self grind for about 1 hour, thoroughly clean the machine, and avoid using hard water. The cleaning time should be short, otherwise the problem will be reversed.

2. The time for vibration grinding and polishing is not enough.

3. Are there any quality issues with the brightener, gloss agent, or polishing solution you use? Generally, if your product can use neutral or alkaline brighteners, try to use neutral or alkaline brighteners as much as possible. Using neutral or alkaline brighteners does not harm hands, consumes one-third less abrasive than acidic solutions, and the stability of additive performance is better than acidic solutions.

4. If your product is first hand polished, please confirm whether the surface oxide scale of the product has been polished, causing uneven or sufficient glossiness after vibration polishing.
